At first, I thought this lawsuit was extremely stupid, but after reading further, it seems like the head of TNN/Spike messed up by saying that Spike Lee did in fact inspire the network's new title. If a channel's name is inspired by me, I'd probably want a piece of the pie too, especially if it's done without my permission...

I first saw an advertisement for the new station yesterday. Anyone familiar with what their theme is going to be. It's supposed to show movies geared towards men as opposed to Lifetime and Oxygen.
I've been addicted to "The New TNN," so I've seen quite a few advertisements for Spike TV. It looks terrible from what I've seen so far. They've been advertising 3 main shows. 1's a cartoon Lawyer who happens to be a rat with Kelsey Grammer's voice. Another's Ren and Stimpy (not sure if we're talking new shows). And another show is "Stripperella" featuring Stan Lee's art and Pam Anderson's voice. Not really sure if they're going to run any other shows that aren't cartoons...this is all I've seen so far. I actually enjoy the new TNN with Blind Date and RealTV...I'm addicted to those damn shows. I hope they don't ruin it by throwing a bunch of terrible cartoons on in their places.
Hey, enough. This is about Spike Lee and his lawsuit. Jeebus, you guys can turn ANYTHING into a race issue. Damn.
