wow...how could they mess this up? they must have some people from the rockets and texans organization working for them....bumblebee looked cool, but this is just ridiculous
Hmmm...well he is still a semi truck, but can't say I agree with the color scheme. I wouldve thought it'd be a nobrainer to keep his original scheme, but then again perhaps the filmmakers though it wouldnt look good in a live-action movie. They coulda done better than flames though...perhaps, like bumblee, he'll get a makeover during the movie and will return to his original paint scheme. One could only hope.
im too lazy to read through the entire thread. http://filmforce.ign.com/articles/726/726524p1.html here is the official list of transformers in the movie... Autobots Optimus Prime - "The king!" Bumblebee - "He's the same underdog character we always knew and loved." [Note: Except he's a Camaro in the movie.] Jazz - "He's eager to take on the Decepticons." Ratchet - "Ratchet, who was an ambulance in the cartoon, will appear in a new form." Ironhide - "The muscle. A tough soldier who can make any Transformer bust an o-ring just with his stare!" Decepticons Megatron - "He's been portrayed as pure evil but we're trying to get a little bit behind the evil in this movie. ... He has a slightly less idealistic version of what he thinks humanity is worth." Starscream - "Always secretly plotting to dethrone Megatron..." Brawl - "An extremely pissed off Decepticon." Bonecrusher - "The closest thing to a Constructicon in the film." Barricade - "The hunter of the group -- a cop car." Scorpinok - "Closest thing to Beast Wars or Dinobot in the film." Frenzy - "A smaller form able to infultrate spaces -- a stealth spy." Blackout - "The guy who takes out our ability to fight back."
I don't like it either, but nobody makes flat-nosed rigs anymore, and they haven't been produced for over 10 years. Still, they could have made him from a few used trucks. I mean, should they bring back Rumble?
no Soundwave? that was the coolest transformer of them all.. i guess it would be difficult to turn a tape recorder into a 50 ft robot
i hope that is an early list because i love soundwave as well. its weird cuz they have frenzy but no soundwave?? what about Wheeljack?
hopefully in a sequel. i think it would be difficult to scale a city and a launch base properly. same with Tyranus? (the large metal godzilla like deception that was a city as well) what would have been cool is if they did have some constructicons, stunticons, aerial bots, etc to form the mega-transformers. devastator etc
Yeah I’ve gone to watching documentaries, independent, and foreign flicks. Hollywood is flat out of ideas.
that's right, mf'er. yah. to mention tf w/o soundwave in the same paragraph is phocking ridiculous. a coworker and were joking around at work a few weeks ago talking to each other during the day in soundwave's voice. why not make him into an ipod or something?
There is a script out there, I just don't know what the current plan is for that movie. Here's a link to the script review. There are tons of spoilers though: http://latinoreview.com/scriptreview.php?id=7
