From what I understand, we're probably lucky that we got that crappy footage of the trailer (which seemed to be in an early state from what I could tell, so I'm not surprised that they don't want to show it to everyone). Sounded like they went through a lot to make sure no one recorded that footage. I thought I read that they showed a trailer for Spiderman 2 at Comic-Con that never reached the public. BTW, most of this stuff (the Venom part anyway) was posted before: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=115782 ktvoss was really on top of things that night.
It looked cool in the theaters. We saw the preview while checking out Pirates. To me the 2nd flick kinda sucked.
