    Good Lord. Even if he had the best of intentions why why why why do Politicians and media folks (ESPECIALLY Trump & his team repeatedly) even go there with Hitler analogies? That's like media & politics 101... never ever make a Hitler/Nazi/Holocaust comparison. Just don't go there.

    Indeed, it's not just that chemical weapons don't fit with a lightning war, chemical weapons in general aren't all that effective when compared to conventional explosive bombs, artillery, rockets etc. Against an opposing army or civilian population with proper gas masks & protective gear, chemical weapons are practically useless.

    Why is using gas on innocent people in the middle of town worse than using it in "Holocaust centers"?

    Is the implication that the Jews weren't innocent?

    Or perhaps because gassing people in Holocaust centers prevents the accidental spread of gas to innocents?

    There's no clarification here, just admit you goofed.

    Nazis used chemical weapons in limited cases on the battle field, they gassed Jews and many of the gassed Jews were Germans. No way out of this box. Saying he didn't use them on his own people is even worse. That plays right into the idea that Jews weren't really Germans.
