In keeping with GARM spirit, I must now draw the hasty conclusion that Spencer Hawes does not work out or practice and may not care about the game of basketball whatsoever.
I wanted this guy on the Rockets back when he was with the Kings, but according to some people on here who like to post a lot, but don't really know much about basketball and don't watch other teams besides the Rockets, the Kings would never move him or Thompson. Looks like they were wrong.
He's pretty terrible. Good guesser though. I commented that I'm a fan and asked him if he'd ever come to Houston but he never said anything back.
I'd be ok with Hawes if his physical checks out. Surely he won't cost too much. We need all the help we can get at the C spot.
Hawes will not be enough of a defensive center to play along side Scola or DMo, not interested. He also isn't enough of an offensive presence to draw additional coverage, so again, not interested.
