Spencer Arrighetti will be a really really good pitcher

Don't be too harsh on a rookie pitcher who had a bad game. This will be his humbled experience since gaining rookie of the month and he'll be fine. He has a few more starts to prove it.

 

Still don't know how they didnt give an error to Pena. Unfortunately for Spencer all 9 of those run are credited to him.

 

Joe Espada really needs to warm up 2 Starting Pitchers, before the Game.

A Backup Starting Pitcher is needed, Seth Martinez, Forrest Whitley can handle those innings.

9 runs is ridiculous, 4 runs is the limit in the First Inning before pulling him.

I remember in Cincinnati they have mound problem. Maybe still have the same issue.

Yeah I would be pissed if I were Spencer. That cost him 6 runs. It was definitely an error and an embarrassing one at that.

Seems he’s put on so much muscle onto his frame, that he’s lost a lot of his fluid motion on his throws.

I hope it doesn’t become like a Josh Howard situation where he put on so much muscle that he lost the gracefulness to his game. After a while he was so clumsy and rigid.

Going back to Peña, who as a shortstop, but lacking that graceful touch to his throws, errors are bound to escalate.

 

It was a clear error....no idea why it was ruled a hit to begin with.
