Speculation: Wally for Taylor, Kandi and Hassel TE

But it's also true. JVG would kill Wally. Not a pretty sight.

 

If we could pulll that off im all for it.. I think Wally is a dead eye shooter (sort of like Pike should have been) but his contract is horrible, but we have to remember Wally was a starter and when not injured is a gunner.

Kandi to backup Yao would be great maybe he could also play some PF for us...

Our cap would take a big hit but it would be definately worth it. Skita coming off the bench and developing would be a nice risk to take. I dont see it happening .. Minnesota is not going to want to mess too much with chemistry, Wally played his heart out for them and came up clutch in the playoffs (certain situations) ..

Spree/Sam are getting older and Wally is next in line for the starting spot. We all forget Wally was a starter for a long time but has played pretty well.

I would love to do this but I dont see the benefit from Minny's standpoint. Players are not going to awesome against everyteam but certain matchups are poison to the other team.

This will never happen since JVG has a say in trades and he knows Wally can't play defense.

However, with the right coach, a trio of Yao/T-Mac/Wally would be unstoppable.

 

I would rather have MoT than Wally's contract, he will be making something like 12-13M for the next couple seasons.

However, I wonder if Minnesota is willing to give us E. Johnson or Kandi for part of the TE.
