Nah. His skin is not light enough to be compared to Curry. ;)

I feel like he would instantly become our heart and soul. He has so much passion for basketball it seems. That's awesome

Look at the video a few posts back that shows Llull hitting 5 out of 5 3's (I think that was the # of attempts). Only one of those was from the 3 point line. On four of the five made 3's, Llull is at least a foot behind the line. Just check the video. Impressive! I think he'll adapt to the NBA's 3 point distances without too much trouble.

Surprised no one has posted this yet:

Not official, but EuroHoops is a legitimate source. It's not like the "Vavel" report a week ago... these guys are credible. Of course, they can be wrong, just as reporters here in the US can... but it's definitely good news.

So it's a given he starts? I doubt it. The Rockets wouldn't want to put all their eggs in one basket.

Cyberx did say Rox were "penciling" Llull as there starter. He said that some time after the deadline..

I think he came back later with misgivings about Llull coming over because of his buyout....whatever that may be.

But that was awhile back, before he posted, "I heard Llull would be making six million per season if he signed here." Which follows the media reports that were denied.

I'd bet Llull is coming over, but cyberx probably isn't a source on that one, and God knows I'm not either; just an opinion. Too much smoke. Gotta be some fire.

Honestly I wouldn't start him assuming they match PatBev. Bev is a real good fit next to Harden & Llull is the ideal type of player to plug in when Harden takes a seat. You could play him alongside PatBev.

Harden , Llull & Bev are a solid 3 man rotation at the 1-2 spots. They compliment each other very well.

Man, if Llull comes over and pans out like I believe he would, next season is going to be amazing! We might lose PBev, but he has been injury prone and Llull is no defensive slouch either. We will have a big back court with him and Harden and I can just see lobs galore to Dwight/Capela. Capela excited me a lot in the playoffs. It was the biggest stage and he shined pretty bright when he had the chance. That speaks volumes to me. Assuming we don't trade T-Jones/D-Mo and can sign Smith and Brewer as well as PBev, we are in for a real treat.

Watching Llull play, he reminds me of Damian Lillard. He has that effortless stroke and stop on a dime ability that the rockets have been lacking from the PG position since stevie francis.

Not to say he will become any of those mentioned guys, but one thing that always translates between leagues is shooting and handles. Llull has both, which is a positive manner.

To compare to Kostas last time this year when i was watching his film a glaring weakness i noticed was his lack of solid ball handling. Needless to say in his rookie year IMO his handles were his biggest detactors. With kostas you could tell he was mentally there but his inability to create openings with his dribbling was hurting his game.

Llull should not have trouble with this, his handles seem solid. Excited if he does come over.
