Just wondering. Have you taken the time to read my post which refutes the e-mail?

Why can't you share them? Do you promise people confidentiality or something?

Is that the Jorge Mag-something blog someone linked to the other day?

If so, I saw a bunch of entries with no comments and only two with one each. One was from someone at Clutchfans about Jeff's recent post and another was someone who was upset with the use of Dwarf imagery.

It's not the same as saying someone is a radical Muslim or that he intends to destroy our ability to protect ourselves from terrorists.

As scary as someone may think "Four More Years of Bush" is, it isn't close to the fear of nuclear destruction at the hands of terrorists or a radical Islamic leader as president.

That quote is just horrible, but its silly to think its a reflection of anything 'republican' or conservative.

The irony is that Condi Rice and Colin Powell were two Americans of african descent that held the highest positions EVER in the history of this country.

    Yet Republicans are called racist???

Rice and Powell were white guys the republicans spray painted black early in childhood in an effort to make themselves not seem racist. Thats how deep the hate is.

Fine, now you know why I didn't approve these types of comments and thought they were not fit for this BBS. But since you asked, here is what one Obama supporter wrote me -- I'll tell you that I clipped off some extremely racist parts of his post. This IS someone that posts on CC.Net -- parts of what were edited clearly indicate that.

NOTE: do not read this if you are easily offended. This is some racist filth that was directed at me, by an Obama supporter from this website. Again, warning, this is nauseating stuff.
Its obvious you are not fully american with a name like that. I am sure your illegal parents would appreciate a little more respect but you are too busy trying to hobnob with the very people you are not. You are douchebag of the highest order and your allegiance to the republican party only shows how blind you are. You are a puppet to fill the pockets of the higher class WHITE people you try so hard to be. You will never see any of that cash minus the scraps your WHITE owners allow you.

In terms of the totem pole you know you barely rank above the pedofiles and thats only because you have learned to kiss arse to the people in the higher classes than you which coincidentally are pure white not like you.

There are people I work with who think Bush is worse than Hitler. I would wager that there are people on this very website who would agree.

Neither party has a monopoly on stupidity.

Hell, just look at this post:

It does not matter whether he is half black or quarter or one-eights. One-drop rule still applies. Obama is just as much "white" as he is "black" but not many are going to look at it that way. I have come across several people who think this way. I just don't think we are ready yet to have a president of mixed/colored origin. By ready, I don't mean his/her ability to lead, but rather if we can accept one.

IMO, Polls will keep showing Obama in lead but the election day will tell a whole different story. Racism/hidden racism will rear its ugly head inside the voting booth where no one can see who you are voting for. The disparity between the polling numbers and the actual voting outcome on election day will tell me how far back we still are.

On one hand OBama is a good pick for this election. Bush/Republicans have fumbled on so many fronts that this might be the right time for most of the people to overlook the race thing and vote for someone who they think can right the ship.

On the other hand, if all Democrats care about is getting the White House back, then it might turn out to be a bad choice. A Caucasian nominee would have completely taken race card out of the equation and a lot more people would be willing to look at the issues.

In either case, this election will show how far we have come or how far back we still are.

I don't know to be honest. I started laughing hysterically and she got offended and we dropped the conversation and moved on to sports.

To IMA: Of course you are correct. Both parties are full of idiots.

Republicans are the party of guys like Strom Thurmond and Jessie Helms, so it isn't difficult to understand why they might be equated with racists. I'm guessing the Klan doesn't identify themselves as liberal and there are plenty of so-called conservative groups that fall under the category of "racist."

This doesn't mean that all Republicans or conservatives ARE racist anymore than being from the south means you're a redneck.

A Republican president also placed Clarence Thomas on the supreme court.

So the three highest positions in US government EVER IN OVER 200 years to go to African Americans have been due to the Republican/Conservative Party.

I think the Republicans this year will have the first female vice president as well.

The Party of Change, Diversity and Acceptance ???
