    From a post on Reddit here is what SpaceX is doing today:

    They're launching a bunch of satellites for OrbComm. The payload is comfortably under the max weight, so the first stage will have plenty of fuel left over to try a controlled landing again.

    The idea is to come to a stationary hover just over the sea with legs deployed, then cut the engine and splash. This stage is sacrificed for test data; with good enough data, they hope to do a landing on land by the end of the year.

    It worked last time, but they landed in heavy seas so we don;t have cool pics.
