That is how you keep the King after he returns home: Let one of his prime years go by right before free agency.

I say this: Morey will throw everything but the kitchen sink as long as Harden, Paul, and LBJ are together. Oh wait, Morey throws everything at the roster already. Take notes Cleveland. This is how we steal your lunch ticket.

This. IMO, only the 2-1 record against the Warriors means anything. Whipping the Spurs was nice, too...but with out Kawhi, who cares? The Cavs are a complete mess right now and doing what everyone else is doing to them only looked good because it was on prime-time national tv.

Whatever happened to all the "FIRE MAURI NOW!!!" posts? Or the "I don't care if he got us CP3, he missed out on Melo!!!" fist-at-the-heavens anguish?

Guess we'll have to wait til the next loss.

Also, I love that clutchfans has its own version of Godwin's Law: in every Morey discussion, someone will eventually bring up the fact that he passed on Kawhi Leonard.

Cleveland just got blown out in embarrassing fashion by Orlando

this is why I don’t view our win against them as a message, they are so broken

at this point, it’s a bad look if u don’t drop at least 110 and get a dub against them

Not a fan of that website. The views of who i assume is the owner are not very good on a consistent basis. The Rockets blew out the Cavs because the Cavs are having terrible problems at the moment. That is Obvious. Anyone can blowout the Cavs on any day.

Bullshit. Every NBA should walk out feeling like they have a chance. The Cavaliers always have a chance, just like the Rockets do. That was a **** win for the Rockets. Its insulting the Cavs wouldnt allow the Rockets a proper challenge.

And Orlando just beat them by 18 tonight, so it doesn't mean ****. Cavs aren't even beating the worst teams in the league.

That's BS. It did send a message. The message is you suck azz and well, we stacked.

32 point win is a 32 point win.

Cavs are pure basket case at this point so really no win against them is a measuring stick anymore

This win would be a much bigger statement if the Cavs were still a great team. As it is, we just took care of business. We don't have statement games anymore (besides the Warriors), teams have statement games against us.

Yeah the Cavs blow out seemed to do more with the Cav's effort vs ours, not the most reliable measure of what our team is capable of. Also with the win over the Cavs the media may be high on selling the Rockets now but there are also lots of articles that report the Rocket's wins over GSW are flukes too.

Also I hate the comparison of GSW to the Heat, you have 4 players GSW that are young and in their respective primes and are all capable of passing/defending/scoring (on and off the ball) where as on the Heat you had 3 players who's games didn't compliment each other at all who needed some adjustment time to get going. Not that I care for any of the teams in question because who wants competitive balance in sports right?
