    Great deal if this is true:

    The mayor said the deal would not be financed by any city debt or facilities charges tacked onto the price of passenger tickets.

    I was holding out hope for the high speed rail between the big cities in Texas: Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin. Would make business travel that much better intrastate. Could actually get some work done while in-route to meetings out of town!
