south park: season 14

Looking for a link, missed the first run again

 

They re-run it at 12.

 

It'll be on again at 11. My DVR must be dieing on me, didn't record this either.

Time to trade it in...

LOL, is this Restore Stephen Baldwin thing legit? WOW.

 

I give them points for trying something different, and for using older and underutilized characters, but it was almost like they had two episodes written that were both deemed not good enough to be their own episode, so they got awkwardly tied together to create one singular episode. The intervention storyline was definitely the weaker of the two.

 

Yes, unfortunately it is. I heard about it a few days ago.

 

This season has been a disappointment. The mar1juana one is the only all around good/funny episode so far

I think this season has been far better than the last 4 or so

 

It's been hit and miss so far for me.

3 good eps, 3 bad ones, and 1 great one.

 

Towelie without the trademark retort "You're a towel!"

And what was all the special needs camps shtick? The accents and jokes all sound like a familiar reference but I can't identify it. Almost like, dare I say, a family guy episode.

 

he said it at least 3 times in the episode, you musta missed it

 

For the first time I am seeing this hockey/cancer episode from season who knows when... its changing my life. Brilliant.

 

So did anybody else watch the mid season premiere?

The only review I read tonight criticized them for making the "NASCAR fans are poor and stupid" joke over and over. I thought the episode was more about making fun of people's perception of NASCAR and its fans. Why else would they have that scene where the drivers are getting super technical?

 

I loved the episode.

But then again, I'm a sucker for NASCAR bashing.

 

South Park is going the way of the Simpsons. Occasionaly you find a really good episode or one episode that has good scenes but most are crap i.e. whale wars, pandemic, imagination land.

 

I disagree.

South Park went through a really lame period, seasons 10, 11, and 12 in particular were very weak.. those were the seasons where they transitioned to 100% computer animation and almost all topical humor... but they seem to have slowed down their production schedule and they're not "forcing it" like they have in the past.

 

i thought it was absolutely hilarious
