oh, by "older" i assumed you meant seasons 1 through 4, but if you meant older as in "7 to 3 seasons ago" (seasons 4 through 8), then yeah i agree. season 8 might be the season with the most number of memorble episodes.
oh man great episode.... interesting that this episode seems to split the global warming pro/con side.
Lame, I doubt South Park will return next season if they continue with these type of episodes. Another thing I dont like i the animation now. It just looks like an everyday cartoon now, it was much cooler when it looked like paper cut outs.
I thought it was a good episode. I think some of you are going in expecting the worst so that's what you see. South Park is the number one moneymaker for Comedy Central so I doubt it'll be going away anytime soon.
I've been a staunch supporter of South Park since it first came out, but after last season, which was fantastic, the last 4 episodes simply haven't been funny, going back to last season's finale. South Park has continually been brilliant, but the guys might need a little more time off after this season to come up with more material. I'm still hoping this season gets better, though.
did anyone else see apocolypto, and if so, did this episode seem to draw from that for the lice? "ive got to save muh baby!" even the tribal drums that came up during the "action" sequences. i love the main lice's voice - like a cross b/t team america and scott stapp. and just like all of mel gibson's characters, his love dies tragically, but he must carry on "for his baby!" movies where mel gibsons wife dies - braveheart, the patriot, lethal weapon, signs, ect. not a great episode, but id give it 3 out of 5 stars. there has yet to be a "classic" episode w/ these first 3 new episodes, but i dont think south park is going to end until trey and matt want it too. comedy central wont pull the plug on their biggest cash cow.
That may be true, but I think if Matt and Trey get bored or feel it is too hard to create new stories, they will quit. i remember they considered quitting a year ago, I just dont think they will do it much longer if they can only come up with the crappy ideas they have done this season.
for those of you who didn't like last weeks episode.... you probably won't like this week's either. From today's Comedy Central Press Release: Hillary Clinton is in town for a big campaign rally in an all-new "South Park" on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 10:00 P.M. on Comedy Central Cartman suspects the new Muslim student is behind a terrorist threat in an all-new "South Park" entitled, "The Snuke," premiering on Wednesday, March 28. The clock is ticking as the citizens prepare for Hillary Clinton's big campaign rally. Every minute counts as Cartman uses his own methods to interrogate the suspect. But could the plan to target Hillary Clinton be just the tip of the iceberg?
