    The best you would get for James is a scrub with 1 less year and that would probably require a 2nd round pick + James just for the other team to bite.

    Since we would have to do a scrub for scrub trade, why not something like James/Snyder for Q-Rich. He is kind of out of favor in NY but he can light it up when he is on. He is also known for his "0'-for" games though (as is Mike James). He rebounds much better than James at a SG position that we don't have much depth in. Plus, NY just lost Marbs for the season and could use James as a backup to Nate Robinson.

    I would rather keep Snyder (expiring), the goal Les wants to achieve is cut back on salaries. Yes NY could use James, but realistically Malik Rose sounds more something Isiah would shoot for. I would do that deal Rose for James staright up without the pick first, but not scared to move the pick as well just to subtract a year extra off salaries. The move would benifit Houston more in the future, but NY would benifit now if that is what there aiming for. Its a possibility.
