What did CP average next to Harden last year? 16/8/5 on under 42 percent? Damn. Westbrook doing 26/8/7 on over 45 percent on the exact same team. Interesting.

 

BG's injuries which may prematurely end an excellent career are not CP3 related. What BG has done w/DET, and their remarkably feeblized program, has been pretty remarkable.

I don't think Harden's moodiness, unsettled nature, etc. is a direct result is a lack of having a father in the home, I just think he is who he is. I came from a single parent home and I can relate more to Westbrook; mature, family man, leader, etc.

I made a thread awhile back... "Will Chris Paul make Harden a better....Person?" and the fans on here eat me up!! LOL. I think Harden is a Helluva Basketball player but he's lacking Leadership and Maturity and I thought CP3 was perfect to show him how to become that but maybe it's Russ. Somebody who he can accept criticism from.

Which one of these guys had 13 turnovers in a elimination game? How about not attempt a shot in the last 7 minutes of a crucial playoff game, with the opposing teams player out for the series? None of these guys quit on their team

kobe was a dick to his teammates and selfish ballhog POS on the court. but he did it in the biggest media market so he was celebrated. and the league office was able to leverage that huge market into $$$ so the zebras helped him. harden is unselfish to a fault on the court. but is also the most hated player in the league (by media and silver, not his peers) and is therefore officiated as if he's lucifer.

Yea I really don't care about people's attitudes, specifically people who are good. Paul can be a dick, Westbrook can be fiery, Harden can be mopey. None of that matters to me.

Harden's attitude isn't costing us games.

there is no doubt that guys like Russ have a hunger to win and a drive that is super rare. that was the most important thing for me about the trade. At least we were getting someone who was gonna match CP3's intensity and drive to win ...and then some. Folks may not like Russ' game, but no one can say that he's give 110% every game and that he's not a leader. He's definitely a leader.
