Wait a minute. If he signed the nets agreement is that not a binding contract unless he fails the physical and we as rightful right of first refusal agents void it? Dude can hold out but we can waive his physical and start fining him right? Players should not be allowed to do this.

 

I don't understand. Per the CBA, isn't he under contract with the rockets now? Why would they let him back into restricted FA just so he can sign a bigger deal with one of the Rockets' rivals and potential first round playoff opponent?

 

Couldn't we just not make him an RFA though until March if we wanted?
