You're confusing "cleared to return" with Kerr choosing whether to put him in. He was retaped and cleared to return and both he and the assistant coaches lobbied for him to go back in but Kerr opted against it.
This would be the major concern yes.... Look, it's probably just because I'm a Rocket fan and whenever I hear "Don't worry! Relax! It's nothing!" I go into panic mode and think "****, season ending." It's just a natural reaction at this point for a lot of Rockets fan. Hopefully it's nothing or we'll be robbed of some great series.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">MRI on Steph Curry's right ankle, I'm told, revealed "nothing of concern." Remains listed as questionable for Thursday's Game 3</p>— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) <a href="https://twitter.com/ESPNSteinLine/status/722538153341427712">April 19, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Did Clutch ever verify if OP was actually an insider? As for game 3, they don't need him. There would be a huge ****storm if they let him come back for no good reason and he made it worse. If they are smart, they'll sit him until it's 2-1, at least, and even then it depends on how game 3 was played.
Why should he play until the rockets prove they can hang with a curry-less Warriors team? Btw, rockets had all the calls too. So we need home court, the refs AND no curry to have a shot? THATS why people didn't care about the playoffs....people like....the rockets lol
I can imagine Kerr saying to the team, "Let's go for 73 wins. We can always rest later in the 1st round against the Rockets."
The past two years if we played the Warriors 100 times we probably would have lost 98 of those times, and the other two wins would have been pity victories Golden State gave us in Houston just so they could clinch in front of a home crowd. I'm almost done with this NBA bull****. The media can go circlejerk itself on the subject of Curry without my attention.
