How many superstars do the Warriors have?

    We need a better coach.

If Howard and Harden split up in the end, I will thank Cyberx for the early warning.

I won't be caught off guard.. I hope it is not the case. At least fulfill the contract

They are both not the best leaders in the NBA but good enough for a championship run.

Dwight is getting old and the Beard is taking more control of the team so be it. Over.

I hope they re-think their system and establish a playbook.

They have to find a strategy to counter the Warriors in the future.

There is no doubt about it, I care because I am a fan. But the last thing I want to do is get my hands dirty with these kind of reports because I would rather think about the game tonight and how in the world are we going to survive. That is not to say I won't dirty my hands in retrospect. Anyone with eyes can see that James and Dwight do mot have the best chemistry but in my mind that is between them, the leaders to figure out. Not me, a fan. Just because I don't want to contribute to all of this finger pointing doesn't mean that I am not a fan. It just means I freaking detest TmZ and people who unload others dirty laundry before they are finished washing their clothes. Lets see how the Rockets respond to this hole they are in before we bury them. Oh andi never meant to excuse the fans for being knee jerks. Lets call a spade a spade shall we? My ONLY issue in this thread is with OP. Maybe I was born in the wrong decade. The 70's seemed pretty nice.

Like I said earlier, if anyone wants to talk about the game you know where to find me. d

Who. Cares? You need luck to advance in the playoffs. The Clippers' collapse. Lillard's hail mary shot. The shot-clock expiring a second before Paul Pierce tied the series. GSW being 99.9% healthy, while never having to face a team with fewer than two starters missing. You have a to be a great team to make it all the way, yes. But I don't think you get there without luck/things breaking your way along the way.

ETA: How many miracles did the 1995 Rockets have? Do you put an asterisk next to their title in your mind?

lol tied Hakeem's team record for consecutive 20+ point postseason games and is 0.1 points and assists per game off numbers only MJ and Oscar have achieved over a postseason. Yep. Terrible leader and not many good games played.

I don't think its a matter of Dwight playing soft, its a matter of not playing with his brain. By that I mean that he gets into foul trouble easily, loses his temper fast, etc. When he does that, it throws the teams funk off. That's why Harden might be frustrated.

On a completely unrelated note, I wouldn't mind signing DeAndre Jordan as a replacement if things got really bad with Harden/Howard...

you do know the rules have changed and the game is different today, right? or maybe you're unaware.

if breaking hakeem's team record is the yardstick, then this team is going nowhere.

now pls tell me how many and which games in this year's playoffs that you consider harden had a great game? detail, please.

I just really love dwight and harden. I want them to get along. I want the whole team and city to get along. It makes me sad. Plus we're down 3-0.

how much is dj's price tag now? i usually dont track these kinds of things.

but if he's demanding a max contract, it just shows how much the game has changed today. its almost sad.

lol. I love the stupid questions posts. The rules have changed, you do know that right? Right up there with "do you even watch the games?" So dumb.

How in gods name is breaking or matching the records of one of the goats equate to this team going nowhere?

As far as great games he's had 2-3. 2-3 bad ones and the rest were good to very good. And it all adds up to a very, very good postseason.

Though it appears you already have a side in this debate. Harden is not a leader and not someone you can win with in your mind. So it doesn't matter what others or I say or point out because your mind is made up.

Someone gave you a first had story of his leadership, but again your mind is made up so it doesn't matter that he has displayed tons of leadership, he didn't display the leadership YOU think is what makes someone a leader so he isn't. Gotta love how that works.

I don't know if he's demanding a max deal, but I know for a fact that a desperate team *COUGH* DALLAS *COUGH* would give it to him.

If things are truly this bad and the F.O heavily consider trading Dwight, I could see this going down:

Morey calls up Hinke and works out a deal for a handful of picks (not including 3rd overall this year) which could be a part of a deal to bring Durant to Houston next summer. Morey signs DeAndre Jordan this summer to replace Dwight.

With that being said, I doubt any of this goes down. I honestly don't thing the issue is that big yet. The reason we're talking about it is because it could boil up and be a huge issue.

P.S. If Dwight is traded to Philly, I'd bet money that Hinke releases him and he signs with Dallas in spite.

Hey Cyberx, do you think the issues started when Harden, McHale, etc told Dwight to quit the post-ups and play a DeAndre type role? Perhaps the team felt they didn't need Dwight to be good because of how well we played without him..

Maybe Dwight doesn't feel included and he's getting frustrated about it? If that were the case, I think Dwight could get traded this summer.. By his demand, not Morey's desire.

dont you think in the same way?

you think he's a great leader. so no matter what others say, no matter how many times others point out his lazy arse on defense (can you deny this?) and hence no "leading by example", you already have your mind made. to you, harden displays leadership that [you think] is what leaders are made of.

so back to you - gotta love how that works. lol.

btw, we've played what, 15 playoff games this year so far? if a player only had 2-3 great games along with 2-3 bad ones (all in your own words), then he's not an mvp-caliber player now is he?
