So do realize you guys say this EVERY offseason. "Well Morey must be planning something at the deadline". Then if it doesn't happen, the conversation shifts to "well, Morey's probably waiting for [Insert Superstar]
to become a FA. This type of thinking is why Morey's comfortable when he shouldn't be.

Let's be clear, you WORSHIP the ground Daryl Morey walks on. Anybody who opposes him you've been trained to destory on site. If any human dares not speak highly of him, he's bashing or attacking him. The reason I brought up Charlie V is because you guys were saying things like "glad we didn't sign that scrub". But my point is if Charlie V's a scrub, then how can ya'll applaud signing Joey Dorsey, the SCRUB OF ALL SCRUBS LOL. It's hypocrytical. But I expect that from you guys:rolleyes:

The Rockets need a backup center who can rebound and play defense. If Morey is right about Dorsey becoming "the best big man defender in Europe" then he can do that. I think it's unlikely but I know there is no way Charlie could.
Charlie is a better shooter, but is he a better rebounder(no way) or defender(unlikely)?

Charlie's only value is as a scorer, where he is too inconsistent and inefficient to be useful to the Rockets. If we were looking for a #1 offensive option on a team that isn't worried about winning, then I'd choose Charlie over Dorsey. Fortunately, that's not what we are doing here.

At least with Dorsey, there's a possibility that he's improved enough to be useful on defense.

You minimize Ariza by calling him an average role player while acting like losing Greg Smith and Jordan Hamilton is a big deal? lol ok, bias exposed.

Seems all you follow Daryl Morey's "next move" more than the actual success of the team. Rumor has it Morey has a few staff members disguised as posters on here. Which explains the reverse trolling you guys engage in. But if that's all you got, have at it lol. I just know if the Rockets don't make it out the 1st round this season, you'll all look very stupid again :)

What a sour puss. Yes, some posters defend everything Morey does to the point where he can do no wrong. But most fans here calling you out aren't like that.

They understand that masterful job that Morey has done in shifting a mediocre team with no star to a darkhorse team with two top 15 players. He was also one ridiculous contract offer away (by Miami) from fielding a team of Howard-Bosh-Parsons-Harden-Bev. Even when that fell through, Morey had a contingency plan in the works (Ariza) and has left us in the position to still improve the team.

Yes, the team as constructed is not ideal and can't be called a true contender just yet. Yes, Morey has made gambles that didn't work out. But, he is still a damn good GM. For you to criticize him for not signing Charlie V of all people is just embarrassing. How can you even call yourself a fan when you smile at the idea of your team not making it out of the first round? All you do is waste everyone's time with your nonsense.

That's not hyprocritical at all, Dorsey brings more value to the team as backup C and defensive/physical guy than an old player who doesn't play defense. Dorsey is regarded as the best defensive center in Europe, maybe he's not a superstar but compare that to Charlie Villanueva who isn't known for **** then Dorsey is obv the better pickup.

But it doesn't even matter, both these guys are minimum salary pickups and there's a chance both of them won't see play regardless who the Rox signs. But to be honest this reply is wat too good to waste on the likes of you, LOL you're either a troll (goodbug?!?!) or a loser who acts high and mighty on an internet message board with all your "standards" but is really a nobody in real life. You claim to be a rocket fan but I've never seen you post a good thing about the team, all you do is talk down to everyone about your amazing standards as an internet tough guy

So I give Morey and the team the benefit of the doubt and I always try to look at everything in a positive light, so what? This is my favorite team and obv I'm gonna show a bias for them. GoRox2013? Please, you should change your name to certifiedtroll 2.0
