I hope CSN sticks around. I prefer the production value over FSN. CSN is great TV as far as Rockets basketball goes. I mean... I used to watch them on channel 20 SDTV. I get a lot of you guys cant watch them, but that doesn't affect me so I don't care.

 

So what you are saying is...

There will either be CSN Houston, or there won't be CSN Houston.

 

You can get the NBA League Pass Premium, which lets you pick commentators between the two teams. You can always listen to the other team's commentators, not sure that's a better option though.

We all kind of assumed this would be the result, but I think the timetable is what is really significant about it.

yep my love for the rockets is the only reason im with them..now that the season is over and this news...time to cut them

same. could have the same channels i currently have with comcast + premium channels (hbo.starz.sho.) for the same price with another provider

 

You do know the season is over right? Just switch back (hopefully you don't have to) in October.

 

CSN Houston is great though. Best sports channel they've had in Houston.

 

Then I would be paying close to the same amount just for their internet. They get you one way or another. Last year I tried to do that in the offseason and they told me "oh we have given you a very very special bundle where if you cancel your cable and keep just your internet, we would rip you off even more".

If FSN gets it then I will switch my internet to ATT or something.

I was assuming that we would be in bankruptcy for a few more years. Him saying that one of the two options will happen before next season starts is amazing.

 

I must be in the minority because I can't stand csn. I'm glad that it is local but the quality of the programming is pretty bad. Rockets games (and some astros games) are pretty much the only thing I watch on there.

 

I agree. Hoping for wider distribution.

Ugh this is great.... Already cancelled my ballstreams subscription, it did the job but the stream was so inconsistent I hope I never have to go back. Please put the Rockets back on Uverse..... PLEASE!!!! That way I don't have to watch someone freeze mid shot and by the time it comes back we are down by 2......
