I think the Nuggets GM is a great negotiator and will blackmail Ainge into throwing most of the BKN picks.
Ainge is in a bad spot, because a lot of his assets are about to reach their expiration date. And Griffin could be the only star in the market for a while, through trade.

This is the third source who has spoken about Griffin getting shopped in the last week alone. THe only new is the other party, Denver.

welp looks like this trade deadline is about to explode. And it looked like a snoozefest.

And you know that if Boston gets Griffin ..they will be even more motivated to go after Dwight! They need a good rim protector next to Griffin and Johnson won't cut it.
The Rockets can benefit a LOT by this situation.
1) get Griffin out of the west -at least for a while
2) Get Leverage to trade Dwight to Ainge for a much better haul.

 

I don't doubt Doc is taking and making calls; but Mitch is, at best, a parrot and source worthy IMO. That's all.
