There are 0 bigs in the league that can defend, rebound, and spread the floor? There may be very few bigs who can rebound and defend as great as Dwert, but there are definitely bigs in the league who can defend, rebound, and spread the floor at either an average rate or above average rate.

BTW when I say spreading the floor I don't mean shooting the 3

I just hope that we can get Dwight to take a paycut and also be competitive for Al Horford.
    He'd be perfect.

    H-Town Boys times 3.

Horford and Dwight would NOT mix... The Rockets need a rebounding distance shooting POWER forward.

Houston may really go after Barnes, but why does it have to be for the max. Would love him on this tem with Howard and Smith.

Also while loving to have Howard on this team we really need to figure out his intentions in regards to staying in Houston and if he's not certain to sign, then trade him by the deadline. Also we really need to trade Lawson for a starting caliber player. A player like Rudy Gay seems realistic, but likely in a 3 team deal.

It has to be the max because a) hes a rfa b) there will be like 5-6 teams trying to get him.

Now looks like mannix reports what we all knew and suspected. That Ainge wants Gallinari. Watch for how much hes traded. At least two firsts. Possibly one of the Bkn picks ('18?)And thats the value of a sf in a good deal.

This isn't about a desperate GM offering him the max, it's about a desperate GM offering him more than he's worth.

Which team? There's maybe 2 or 3 that fit your profile and none seem likely.

What do you think he is worth?

He is worth more than Chandler Parsons and probably for at least the next 2 years.

If morrey has a strict line of 20 per then the other team must offer dwight at least 26 per. And thats if they are also a winning team not some lottery. A lottery must offer full max.

Potential interested in dwight from needs standpoint: portland, chicago(no way they pay max), charlotte, boston, dallas , lakers(yeah right), new orleans(got get rid of asik).

Teams with capspace : boston dallas portland.

Charlotte if wants dwight will have to trade for him unless they let go of batum.

Hasn't he been stretching the floor lately though? Improved his range? He can slot into the 4 or 5 position. Double-double threat.

Barnes would thrive and be a perfect fit here what is everybody concerned about? Over paying? I don't doubt morey will over pay for him but I don't believe he would extremely over pay for him this is morey we are talking about.

He's gone. He will take less than max to go to warriors.

To me, paying 23-25 mil for Barnes qualifies as extremely over paying.

Yep, we are going to be the first team in history to CHEAP our way to a championship.
