I think Chandler is steady, a "passes the eye test" type, but a bit overrated to me. His defense is versatile sure, but not that great. Same as his offense. He can drop in some points, but not a great creator or shooter. Having him through the 2019 season (if he picks up player option, which Morey always hated I thought) doesnt sit TOO well with me with that injury history of his. He just doesnt move the needle for me. But he might could be an Eric Gordon "plays better HERE" type of acquisition. .
At this point in their careers that statement is vastly incorrect. Going forward I surely like Harrells potential, but he's not nearly as good right now. None the lesser, koufos>>>brewer
Koufos has the experience and maybe a soft touch around the rim can definitely play pick and roll but what can he do, that, Harrell or NeNe can't? Dunk? Dude it would be such a lateral move just for the sake of making a move. Can he rebound? Cause thats what we need. If not.... I want my Sewer for the playoffs.....
LOL. That's funny. He probably won't be a Rocket, but some of you are pretty clueless outside of making deals on NBA2k or whatever the kids are playing....
Yes he can rebound, the knock on him is his terrible FT shooting. Something we're good at hiding lately.
He's fantastic at PnR which is predominantly what we run. He's an average defender and a big bruiser type body. He would be the best rebounder
The mistake was Orlando's to make in my opinion. No way our 1st and scrubs are worth more than T. Ross and their first. Good for Orlando, they went with the best package. That's not a mistake, that's having ZERO leverage.
Usually you want something back in a trade. But to be honest, I'd be happy if we gave him away for nothing. What we'd get back is minutes on the court to better players plus salary cap space. That's more than enough IMO.
No, no, no. Wrong answer. Coach Bestest McHale said Brewer is the best player on the Rockets. From a HOFer's mouth to God's ears. Or Vivek's ears if God's busy.
This has become a double edged sword on CF. One day it's calling Brewer "Sewer" which isn't even terribly clever however accurate...the next it's saying we need to trade him for players that are thought of as decent to above average players. So does he suck or is he good enough to trade? Dekker is the blue chip, maybe Capela too. They aren't giving those guys away for anything less than a superstar.
