Hastings is insufferable, but if any talking head truly knows what's going on within that organization, it's him.

This whole f'ing website is insufferable! I rarely come here anymore because it has devolved into hardly any basketball talk at all, just a bunch of name calling and one-upping. Clutch, this place sucks now, it's like walking into an argument in someone's dysfunctional home. Walk in, turn around and walk out.

I don't want Wilson Chandler if it means giving up Dekker. There is not a big difference between their numbers and every reason to believe that, if Dekker was getting Chandler-type minutes, he'd put up similar numbers.

    Dekker: 47.7 FG%, 32.2 3PT%, 55 True Shooting%, 2.7 Win Shares, 1.1 Defensive Win Shares
    Chandler: 45.4 FG%, 33.8 3 PT%, 53 True Shooting%, 2.4 Win Shares, 0.8 Defensive Win Shares

Other than Free Throw % (Dekker has been bad so far), their stats are pretty even. Chandler was a good defender - doesn't seem to be much of one now. Considering he's 29, there's little doubt who the better player will be next year, much less 3 years from now when both their contracts expire. Add in that Chandler makes about $9 mil more than Dekker and I think we can close the books on this "Sam Dekker and a 1st" crap.

But it's basically a handful who ruin it for the rest of us. And the bad apples / trolls, in certain cases, have second accounts so they can drag out a thread with "conversations" between them. And then we jump in and tell them how bad they make things. Which just strokes their balls because they live for it.

Yeah, in the end acting as a victim leads to nothing anyway. I don't even use the ignore function and i still enjoy clutchfans without issues, fortunately there're a lot of good posters here so a couple of bad ones are not making the experience bad for me, like, at all.

I'll have to use the ignore function on a lot of posters. This place is out of control!

I agree with you, generally speaking, but the ignore function might help since there are just a small handful of people who are more interested in being right than having a discussion.

Eh. Interesting numbers. Would agree that Chandler probably doesn't move the needle if you lose dekker to get him. I think a lot of people just think this team is iffy as constructed. At the start of the season if you said 40-18 I would have been elated. However now that we are here I just wonder if it is fools gold. First few games out of ASG will tell the tale. If we lay eggs then there is reason to be concerned that this will be a one and done playoff season. If we come out with December bball and tear opponents up. Then maybe its time to get more excited. I will say we are woefully thin in the front court. One injury and we have nothing. We need another big body who could care less about scoring. Would love a prime Mutumbo right now.

Numbers dont really tell the whole story, Chandler is valuable because he can create his own shot, he can drive by himself to the rim in a crowded lane and finish at the hoop. Dekker cant do that yet, his handle is really shaky and almost all of his pts come from being set up by other people. What the Rox need is another creator or at least somebody who can create for himself so it takes some load off Harden and EGo who create shots for everyone else on the team.

So what if he's 29? Athletes dont go from athletic to old men in just 1 year, 1 year from now Chandler will still be better than Dekker. Dont put a lot of stock in defensive metrics because really good defense will result in no shot being made and the ball being passed to someone else. If the guy who received the ball is being guarded by a lousy defender it can then result in a score which will make the guy's defensive stats worth even if he did the job properly

I have been doing that for a long time Vivi it's just gotten to the point that there is too much to ignore. They've ruined a good thing for me. I'm truly sick of this $hit! Congrats Trolls you Mother Fukers! Clutch, get a hold of your site, it's a joke.

Id give a 1st & Dekker up in a trade and help him pack if I could get Butler back in a trade. Crowder is a solid player though and I'd give Harrell & filler up to get him.
