I like Brewer as a person but his basketball skills are far from what they used to be....maybe he needs the ball to slash more but when he's missing fast break layups, and his threes are not falling he's useless. His defense is not what it used to be. I think he can still be productive where it counts though....in the playoffs. Can't tell me if you saw a good player on the block wouldnt put a package together to offer even if it did suck, have to at least try. Let me do some word association for you.... sew·er1 ˈso͞oər/ noun an underground conduit for carrying off drainage water and waste matter, otherwise known as trash or garbage. When he plays great he's Corey Brewer, when he sucks and starts stinking it up, and plays like garbage, he becomes Sewer.
Exactly, but that's how the internet works. When the Rockets are doing well its "We are doing well", when their playing bad it's "The Rockets are playing bad"
I wasn't attacking Morey. I meant what I said though. Occasionally they seem to have a direction internally that probably wont sit well with the fans so they do or leak minor things that might help their approval ratings.
Just a question. I have seen several tweets from NBA insiders and prognosticators over the last week or so saying the Rockets have been checking on the availability of Wilson, Galinari, Tucker, and Ibaka to name a few. How and when did it become gospel and a separate thread worthy because 1 person restated the obvious yesterday of what's been out on the grapevine for over a week?
Word association and definitions are not the same thing...And kinda make you look stupid when you aren't comprehending my post in the first place...So...you know...bite me? I know what a sewer is and I get why he's picked up the name. I'm saying it's just not clever, even if it's accurate. Then to say blleehhhh brewer suck let's trade him for someone better? Why are other teams going to trade us good players for bad ones? This isn't nba2k.
.....or maybe there are MANY ROX FANS that just see eye-to-eye the type of players we need as OPPOSE to the types you would like. Like, those sturdy-types. Ever thought about that?
http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=j37f6t8 Get trash Ryan Anderson and Ariza off the team with this move... also throw in our 1st and their 2nd that we have from them and make this deal asap.... you get better players.... get off of bums contract and replace ariza with a better, more consistent wing. WHAT A DREAMMM!!!!!!!!!!!
I think this moves masks our size inside.... because of the consistency on offense this move would bring... Harden Bev Chandler Gallo Capela bench: Dekker, Gordon, Harrell, NeNe
I see you like to cherry pickin', you big big baby. Lets stay on subject. You have a problem comprehending threads, and the "said joke" within the thread. You didn't get why Brewer was being called Sewer, (At one point I didn't get it neither, I didnt get mad about it bro and then I watched him this season and it was obvious) so I tried to explain but it don't compute in your brain, nothing I can do about it. Ok you don't think its clever but, you do get it, even if it is accurate? (thank goodness for that) If you want to go that route NONE of our opinions matter about Brewer, no matter how inconsistently bad or good he is. If you get a team in need of a veteran wing with a desperate GM, you do it, even for pennies. Of course I want the best deal....but to develop and play my youngters I'll get rid of him for a 2nd round pick. He only has 2 yrs left on his contract. Besides if any trade happens, does not necessarily mean Brewer has to be involved. He could just be a throw in. Dick....
