This is exactly how it goes down.. The D'Antoni Bros join up and then get Morey to get stoudemire back and Nash out of retirement, offer them insane money, and then...... Look, I like Dwight as a person, I think he is a nice guy, has a good heart, and genuinely wants good things for everyone.

BUT.

The guy can't shoot. He can't post-up, he can't beat his defender one on one, much less beating a double-team. And all they need to do is foul him, because he simply can't hit free throws. So you have what is essentially a turnover, statistically speaking, every time you give him the ball.

Which would be ok, IF.. if he would simply accept his limitations, and limit himself to playing defense, blocking shots, setting screens, and rolling to the bucket for very reliable alley-oop dunks.

But he won't do that, instead he believes he should be a pivotal part of the offense. And anyone who would advocate regularly giving Dwight the ball on offense is INSANE.

I'm sorry, but he has to go.

And that is a fact.

Any any potential free agents the Rockets would be looking at would already know this.

So this is not anything against the organization, and it doesn't make the Rockets look bad. It makes Dwight look bad, and frankly delusional.
