Uhh so much wrong in this post... For one, Lowry is good and Lin isn't. Two, Lowry would be worth every cent of his contract whereas it is debatable by many whether Lin is even worth his $8 million cap hit. Lowry is a better passer, defender, shooter, and IMO finisher than Lin is. To put it simply for your ignorant ass, Lin is inferior to Lowry in every regards as far as basketball skills and talent are concerned.

    How false is this?

Lowry got traded for a lottery pick.

It might take us trading a lottery pick to get rid of Lin.

All depends on Melo now. The fact that he hasn't committed to Toronto yet tells me he's waiting for something........ie the Melo trip to Houston.

Assuming Melo is out, he will probably tell Toronto he's walking, so they should work with Houston on a SnT. I don't think Ujiri will really let him walk for nothing. Rocket's offer will probably be something like Lin, DMo, and a euro. Then we need to make a hard run at Love or Anderson.

Funny how we seem to be going after ex Rocket players (Lowry, Ariza, Hill). If I'm them, then why would I take that recruitment seriously?

Because houston seems to be in a better spot than Toronto, DC and LA.

We cut Lin and he came back. We traded Brooks and he came back on a good deal.

There's tons of examples around the league of teams cutting or trading players and then later getting them back.

Lin comes off the bench because he's super prone to giving the ball to the other team. That's the difference between a decent 109 ORTG (20%USG) and a stellar 118 ORTG (23%USG).

18 to 42 hours? What a weirdly specific time frame.

Why would they want him? They have Steve Nash... Lowry and Nash are practically the same player!

One of those guys was playing with the bench against other bench players and when he was playing with the starters, he was at best the third or fourth option.

42 hours? That's a random timeframe. And no way in hell is he signing with the Lakers.

On a separate note, why do people think they can just start-up some random Rockets fan-site or Twitter account and be able to compete with Clutchfans?

Maybe they got word 6 hours after he decided 24 to 48 hours.

So by the time it was reported, there was 18 to 42 hours left.
