Am I misunderstanding? So Hinkie may have interest in Asik even while they're tanking. Can't be right, since they'll have Noel back more than likely next season.
What? Asik to Philly? What did I miss? Would this be a straight Asik for draft pick or something else?
So Lin is main salary piece to Boston or are the Celtics looking for an expiring contract (from 3rd team) instead?

Where does the $$$ for Rondo come from? There's "only" Lin, and that means a 3rd team. Or am I missing something here???
Asik to Philly Rondo to Houston 2 First Rounders + NYK 2nd to Boston (NO Pick for Asik, 2016 Unprotected from us, NYK 2nd Rounder 2014) This works in the trade machine and would be a miracle.
I really hope that there's really legs to this. Rondo is exactly what this team needs to take the next step. Capable ball handler, primetime performer, defender, big game experience, toughness, grit... It's all there.
I would want to know if the offense scheme would be the same if we get Rondo. Currently it seems like we don't have a PG on the team, anyone could initiate offense. Does that mean everyone needs to adjust, that might kill our chemistry and momentum right now. People argue that we need a pure pg on this team, but they don't realize its the coaching decision and the way this current team is set up to not run everything through a PG. If we are going to use Rondo like how we use Lin it would be outrageously ridiculous to see Rondo camp the corner and take 3s; If we going to let Rondo be the primary ball handler than Harden would be the one that needs to adjust the most. Getting Rondo means the coaching staffs will have tons and tons of work to do. This put Mchale to test.
I don't understand ... Cyberx knows something more or just brings up Philly trade(article) as a possibility like december.
