False. He's played in 10 games already.

Thanks for posting this. Rondo's total number of missed games Iin a 4 year span seems alarming even if you consider the 82+ due to a single ACL injury. Humn, Parsons must not be part of any Rondo trade for us.

I agree. He is great at what he does. I would even say he is Paul George lite But some act like he is top tier third star. That he is not.

Remember that picture with one of the posters here Parson and Morey? I wonder if Morey was giving Parsons a heads up about this tactic?

How can you comment on something when you are so utterly clueless? He's been back for like 10 games

Love, not in the playoffs. Won't sniff the playoffs, plus, he likes playing out on the 3pt line.
Zach, great great great mention, but he just lost Marc Gasol. Again. Won't be there when it counts.
Blake. Is that a joke? He's a tweener. Anyone on this team with any amount of size could take him and he's soft as can be. Dunks don't get it done in the playoffs.
Duncan, really? I already said there was no need to add him. Dwight guards him. And please don't tell me you're afraid that the 10 million dollar man, Tiago Splitter, will come and get you. No need to believe in ghosts or Tiago lighting you up. Neither are possible. Harden could guard Splitter. Casspi could guard Splitter. And if the basketball gods love us, we keep Terrence Jones anyway.

You might as well stop watching the Rockets then, because Mchale did that against OKC in the playoffs.

I could see Morey including Parsons if Jeff Green is in the deal. Jeff could take Chandler's role at forward. I wouldn't expect Morey to target Green specifically, but I could see how swapping Green for Parsons would be good for Ainge since it allows Boston to get out of Green's player option for 15/16 as well as take advantage of Chandler's bargain salary for this year and next.

    Example:
Parsons, Lin, Asik, picks/young players, etc. -> Rondo, Green, other

For Houston, taking on salary past 2015 is no longer a big deal if we get our Big-3 with Rondo.

I'm intrigued by the following small-ball lineup we could field occasionally:

    Howard
    Green
    Harden
    Beverley
    Rondo

How did that work out? Also, now that the team has 2 solid young PF's, you won't see that again.

which is exactly where we are going in this year's playoffs. Our best 5 guys are Bev/Lin/Harden/Dwight/Parsons. Those guys will be on the floor at the end of games.

If we make a trade for Rondo and Bev is still here, then our best 5 guys becomes Rondo/Bev/Parsons/Dwight/Harden and if we make a trade for Rondo and Bev is included and Lin stays then our best 5 becomes Rondo/Lin/Harden/Dwight/Parsons.

Any way you want to look at it....in crunch time in the playoffs Harden is going to be at the 3/4 and we'll have 2 point guards in the lineup.

that is barring some sort of blockbuster deal for Melo or Love.

I have a theory that people just miss TMac, so they want a guard who is always injured and Rondo fits that bill.

You know, if Rondo is not traded to Houston, it will be because the top GMs are never really going to make a trade with each other. The NBA is composed mostly of badly managed teams. At least 2/3 of the league's teams are poorly managed. The handful of well-managed teams are accustomed to exploiting all of the badly managed teams in trades. All one-sided. Daryl Morey can't rip off Danny Ainge, and Danny Ainge can't rip off Daryl Morey. I suspect (after sleeping on it) that the two of them are helping each other out here, by pumping up the value of each other's players.

Have you ever played fantasy sports? Typically, you have a couple of guys who know what they're doing, and these two guys rip everybody off all the time. These two guys never trade with each other. That's what the NBA is like. Rockets fans should feel fortunate that your team is one of the handful of teams that know what they're doing.
