That's what I remember as well, and from what I've seen of him (only played about 100 games in three seasons), he still plays up on his man. He's still pretty decent from 3 which will be good here. If we keep Parsons I have confidence in his ability to D up the backup 2s and 3s of the league.

So this entire time Rondo was a smokescreen for plan A aka Dunleavy?!?

Please don't tell me Brooks was "Crybaby"...

That dude went down to the valley and played the part. Got traded several times and played the part. Signed knowing Lin and Bev were in front and had a no trade clause.

You also don't make this trade unless you know we have something new coming in. WTH.

He was that guy that Parsons totally abused earlier this season in Houston. I think he fouled two times in the first minute of the game for two and-1's, and got yanked playing for his home crowd. Hamiltion will probably be happy with the trade. He'll get to play in Houston, where he's from, and he'll probably improve playing with Parsons in practice.

Brooks was just an insurance ... if he is just a good defender and as it seems he is a decent 3point shooter(34.9%) i am okay with that.

Could simply be they're comfortable with Canaan as the 3rd PG at this time.

Trading Aaron Brooks away is a long standing Rockets tradition.

I honestly think they did Brooks a solid by dealing him to a team where he can play more.

Guys I told you months ago it would be easy to trade Brooks. All they had to do was tell Brooks they are releasing him. He can either go to a team that wants him or be released into uncertainty. The only question then becomes if Brooks refuses the trade and is released you have to come out with other outgoing salary to bring in Hamilton.

Which means, there's another small deal in the works. At worst Brewer out with cash to bring in Hamilton, and release Brooks so Nuggets can pick him up.

Of course he would. Aaron's playing for next year's contract now. He has half a season to show people what he's worth, and if Bev and Lin stay healthy, he couldn't do that here.

I like rondo, but we are in 3rd place, won 8 (9 tonight) in a row, and it's our first year. Let's just keep it as is!

I thought Brooks couldn't be traded without consent.

    Poor chap

Ya the nuggs are losing Andre and Nate is out with a torn acl and I believe Lawson has a sprained ligament as well. Hope he gets to showcase himself for a new contract.
