If the 76ers are just dying to get some value for Evan Turner then we could send them Asik for Turner and the 2 Cav's 2nd rounders. then Transfer the 2 Cav's 2nd rounders plus one of our 1st rounders along with JLin to Boston for Rondo. I'm having a hard time believing the Celtics would ever do that. Rockets get Turner / Rondo 76ers get Asik Celtics get JLine two 2nd round picks and one 1st round pick

I could understand the Celtics not wanting to just give Rondo away but they are basically just holding him hostage at this point. They will waste a couple of his prime years no one rebuilds that fast. Maybe if they were a .500 team in the West you could say they are 1 or 2 pieces away, but they are sub .500 in the Eastern Conference, there are not enough picks in the world for that.

Eh, I think Rondo is similar to both (combining their best qualities). Similar to Bev defensively, Jeremy offensively and a better playmaker than both. I'd rather keep Bev as he's a better asset, better contract, a better spot up shooter (a must for this team) and I like having a bulldog on the floor at all times to keep the intensity/energy up. I'd stagger the minutes resting Rondo early so Bev can get some burn with the starters and Harden can be the primary ballhandler (similar to the success we have now). Then when Dwight/Harden sit, bring Rondo back to play WITH Bev (and Asik) as a defensive line-up to slow other teams down. Then up the tempo and close the half with Rondo/Harden/Pasons/Jones/Howard. Do the same in the second half.
