No way we either INCLUDE Parsons with Asik and Lin without something more significant than Rondo (and maybe Bass?) coming back OR only include one of Asik/Lin and a young PF (TJ or D-Mo) and Parsons.... and take that much additional salary. DO NOT SEE IT. IF whatever inside talk got to Cyber regarding the Rockets being willing to give up Parsons, there has got to be MORE than what he's shared with us. Not saying he's holding out, but Parsons doesn't go in deal where it's Rondo or Rondo/Bass. MAYBE, and I doubt this, MAYBE a Rondo/Green package, but again, I doubt that seriously.
if its Jones or Parsons then you can say goodbye to Jones IMO - Parsons' contract is too good to just give up and plus he is far more important to the team as it stands right now. DMo still has a ways to go thats for sure but I have a bit more confidence in him of late than compared to last December. If anything it would force Covington to maybe see some minutes. I mean the Rockets somehow made do after losing Patterson and Morris last year and Jones/DMo barely played then. I think they could handle this if it means a huge upgrade at PG (and yes Rondo is a huge upgrade and is at a all time low in value coming off of his injury) Another thing that makes Parsons untouchable is the 'PR' aspect of it -- the guy was a huge player - if not the biggest player in the Dwight recruitment efforts. Getting rid of Parsons after he helps land you your second franchise cornerstone would send a terrible message to future free agents. Not to mention the damage that could be done between Dwight and the franchise.
If Morey does a trade like this, he's getting already his new SF. Green+Rondo or no Parsons (nothing).

I thought cyberx was verified as an accountant or some sort of office working role for the Rockets. So, it's not inner circle 1st hand info, but it's probably legit leakage around the workplace info. I hope it happens w/o giving up the farm. Rondo is a defensive stud, and makes up for his lack of jumper with outstanding speed/awareness/passing.
They have leaked two things to woj this season - rockets want 2 first round picks for Asik - rockets are pursuing options for DMo They were all leaked from the rockets endothelial either bump up trade value or make it known to the players agents that the rockets are atleast look at trades

And was either of those unintentional? Of course not, as you and I well know. In trades Morey acts fast in complete secrecy. There are no leaks from his office. So all this is either fabricated or leaked intentionally and therefore completely unreliable.
Maybe it really is all just a ploy by Morey to help a brutha (Ainge) out. Maybe this is what Morey was prepping Chandler for that fateful morning they took a stroll outside TC and were caught by our fellow clutchfan.
