I have a question...if we do end up trading for Rondo I am all but certain that either Jeff Green or Brandon Bass would have to be included in the deal. Do Bass and Howard fit well together? I have heard people say that they don't but I haven't seen any statistics to back it up.

Tonight's game shows that our starters are awesome and our bench kind of sucks. What we need is not another star but a better bench.

I don't mind getting Rondo as long as we don't blow up our starting squad.

 

I kinda feel like i'v been stood up for a date.

id rather have nothing happen than get rondo. rondo will be good for another team.

 

I wouldn't use tonight's game as an indicator of anything.

I would be happy if we could just get Deng somehow and keep Lin and Asik. Dude is solid. Plays his ass off.

 

I'm watching the Phoenix/Boston game to scout Rondo after he looked tender. There is marked improvement in his knees over the San Antonio game. The risk in getting him is still there, but the Rockets have a less risky proposition now.

 

i would argue that asik and dmo are as good as any backup 4/5 tandem in the league. lin is also as good as any backup PG in the league. i'm sure we can add another 3/D wing player to the bench and all of a sudden we have a great bench.

Lin's play tonight might help him to get trade because Morey might be less greedy.
Who knows, we will find out in 12 hours.

I think we buy an upgrade at backup SF/SG for a 2nd rounder and maybe Casspi and Brewer to a team looking to dump guys for cap space next year.

 

If Morey actually uses tonight's game to change anything, he'd be making a mistake.
