Some reading material.... @KBergCBS: Unable to secure a 1st-round pick in a deal for Evan Turner, Sixers may now take a 2nd as part of package for '10 No. 2 pick, sources say.
He'll probably average $11 million over 4 years, in my humble opinion. That's not what you're saying, though, is it.
We can make all that money, plus luxury tax, back from the sales of Chandler Parsons swim suit calendars.
Not really. I've tried to point out a few stats. Here's the PER for SFs this season and PGs last season (since Rondo only has 10 games or so this season). We do have a pretty nice 2nd rounder from NY right? Would be nice to get Evan here so we can stop playing Garcia and Casspi.
Hayward got offered 12 mil if I remember correctly. They are comparable so it's possible. In fact, Hayward is holding out for more.
I meant per year. He will get well over 11 million for the duration of his deal, but I dont believe he will break PAST 11 million a year.
that's what i said. things should be heating up right now, not going cold... as we talked about, i'm just expecting brewer/smith/second rounder for morrow, miles, singler, neal, or the like.
Well he's an excellent defender and rebounder, can get to the rim, but poor shooter. 2/3 guy. I've always liked him. ...and I think our pick in the 2nd round is currently #10
Now THAT'S a guy that doesn't fit our style. Basically a rich mans Ronnie Brewer with handles. Would take Parsons over Turner every day.
I was a lurker then and saw that, and quietly agreed with you. The real issue is many are in denial over how much it will cost to keep Parsons, and that we may lose him. #Forlorn sigh...
