Judging by the ESPN article that the two sides are far apart, I'm guessing Rockets won't go higher than: Asik + Lin + 2014 & 2016 unprotected firsts for Rondo + Bass ... give or take a Motejunas or second round pick. No Parsons. That seems to be approximately the stalemate. Not even close for either side. And Boston will decide to gamble on getting a better bid this summer.
I know it's Broussard, but he just answered on SportsCenter that the Rockets and Celtics were talking about Rondo.
You're not getting it. It's not about having fans make the final decision, but to have such things as focus group and free analysis and a check to groupthink, etc. Companies used to pay big bucks to do these things - e.g., to select a focus group to see how normal people react, as a feedback mechanism. And the ownership hires independent directors because they want fresh ideas and checks against groupthink, etc. Just because it's free (e.g., Wikipedia) doesn't mean it's worth nothing.
In recent memory I know that the Dwight Howard meeting thread in July was huuuuuuuuuge. The nixed Pau Gasol trade was a giant thread too. This has to be right up there with both.
I think it was the Howard thread. It was epic. Much like this one with 10x more traffic at all hours.

I'm not sure I'd do that, Dunleavy isn't worth giving up a pick. I'd stand firm with the offer of a salary dump and if they didn't like it, I'd let them keep him. There are more teams out there looking to tank that have wings who can shoot.
Doc saying most likely philly, he hopes for a trade with the hawks, bucks possible. So... possibly, Young, Hawes, Milsap, Teague, Neal, Ersan
that's why nothing has happened yet because Chicago wants a 1R pick which obviously we aren't going to give up.
i posted it on the last page

“@shramshukla: @Thedocrocket Rondo coming here?”....of course not. I read on some bulls board that we maybe had offered brewer, smith and a 2nd. maybe that poster made that up, but that's along the lines of what I was thinking. two bench guys, both expiring and a 2nd. but our 2nd is knicks second, so its very high.
