Looks like a ScoopB deleted the tweet, but reposted it. Probably had a typo he didn't like or wrong hashtag that he wanted to correct....I do the same thing, sometimes...but ya gotta be quick when @Deuce is monitoring you...lulz

How annoying is this guys? I keep waiting for my bleacher report to notify me of something. Keep refreshing on here for something new.
We know it’s happenig soon but when and what exactly is happening?
I won’t be pissed if it doesn’t happen for us but please no Toronto and no OKC.

A very wise post. Ditto for Tucker. We all like them very much.

Why is everyone saying Tucker is off the table? Is it possible that Morey is shopping him to a team in win-now mode for youth/assets that would appeal to Minny?

Or did Cyber/Cod report that he’s off the table and I just missed it?

    (Thread is moving fast lol)

Hey, HeyPartner :) ...hope you've been well.

I've heard this, too. I've also heard that the Rockets see Gordon as a more valuable piece come deadline. IMO (which, really, who gives an F about my opinion LOL) I think EGo is so, so valuable to this team. Without his shooting against GS in the WCF, we don't win some of those games. With that said though, Jimmy is Jimmy....I get it.

As for Tuck: One of my Ears says that Tuck isn't part of any offer. Mainly, he is one of the leaders of the team, his contract doesn't even begin to show what he brings to our core, and what goes unmentioned that is sometimes of most importance: He is James' best friend on the team. Yes, CP and James are close, but their relationship is more business and based on a respect of a common goal of winning. Tuck wants all that, too. But, in terms of friendship, Tuck is James' guy.

And, we all know that James has a say in some of these transactions, even if it's never admitted.

I'm hearing so much about possible destinations for Jimmy, and while we're in those mentions, I don't feel as confident that we have what Minny wants.

My best Ear says a 3-team deal is most plausible because without that, we're going to lose even more of our core. That's the PAIN I always talk about. We lost a leader in Trev...that's going to show, even fro all of the fans that hated Trevor when he missed shots.

If you give up Tuck, you lose heart.

If you give up EGo, you lose a Spark who loves being in Htown.

    It's tough.

I'm all for Jimmy, but I don't see how well he fits in our offense.

If anyone can pull this off though, obviously it's Morey. That part won't surprise me.

I'm most excited of the lesser "knowns" that the Rockets could acquire through a multi-team deal

    1) Personal preferences of fans
    2) Tucker, at 33, likely doesn't fit in with what Minny when they move Butler (Youth!).

Tucker would be the only warrior in Minnesota. That teams is softer than Charmin'.

On paper, damn, they could be great. But, with Thibs' coaching and general disinterest, they're the first team in the West to implode.

Out East: Washington, followed by Detroit

Hey Cod, you mentioned Butler might not be the best fit in the other thread, and that Hou doesn't neccesarily need another scoring star but just a guy who can bring it defensively. I agree with this, but who's out there that fits this role and could be accesible with our minor assets?

Good, Tucker is here to stay! Glad @Codman sees it as it is, voice of reason around here aside from being an insider. Always a pleasure!

Haha, I can't confirm Tuck is here to stay, nor can I confirm that he's "safe." I just know that his leadership, loyalty and effort are respected from the players, to the coaches, all the way up to the GM and owner. Trading Tuck, in my eyes, would be idiotic.

Name another guy who plays with his ferociousness, will challenge the franchise player (harden) and do the dirty work just to win....There are very few guys left in the league. And, again, he's Jame's bud.

    One love.

Thx for the scoops, and same well wishes back to you, Codman.

Might as well copy the post you made in the other Butler thread just now, too, for completeness in this thread...as it made "space" a key point ... meaning Minny wants to purge major salary...which makes sense, if Taylor the Owner is calling the shots and he just signed KAT to a Supermax extension.

Just like Tilman, Taylor is learning the importance of adding Luxury d'Tax mwah Profit to his roster, now

On Minny's roster, not so much. I know that the Rockets have had previous interest in Taj (Nearly nabbed him and DougieBuckets at a past trade deadline before OKC messed it all up). Taj would be great for front court security and experience. He can rebound and spread the floor a bit. And, it goes unnoticed, but he's GREAT at setting hard picks and rolling to the basket. Tyus is security at the guard spot, and Morey has expressed appreciation for his game. (Also, Ty is a FreeBird. He wants out at all costs. If Jimmy is traded, I'd expect Ty to be packaged with him)

It's hard to answer your question until I hear more about possible third team involvement. I will say this though: The Eastern teams want Wiggins....and once Jimmy is gone, that entire Minny team will want to be "Freebirds."

    Watch for the deep east...

Again, things change quickly. @cyberx has a better reach in that realm.

Give me Taj Gibson!!!!!! If we get him for pennies (not EG or Tucker) it would be a coup.

Good point. The worst thing coming out of Minny that isn't public nor proven yet is that KAT already wants out.

From his friends (one on our team), he's made it clear that Minnesota isn't playing to his strengths, nor will Thibs adjust hist gameplan to give him better touches in the post.

The other bit is the locker room. The boy from The 6 claims that he should be getting 25+ shots a night, and Jimmy is the only voice of reason in there.

Thibs needs to retire, and Minnesota should find some talent for Jimmy/KAT/Wigs and start over. They've messed up badly.

    Deng? Really?

    LOL

I meant more so if he doesn't get traded. He doesn't come off as a guy that would let trade rumors bother his game

I called it back in July. Jimmy is headed to Toronto. Ujiri in Toronto is what Morey is in Houston. He is either Raps’ saviour or out of a job next summer.
EDIT: Not a done deal. Haha
