Covington is shooting 39%, but he's a career 35% from 3's

Neither guy are great 3 shooter...they just take 3's unless you count 35% fg as great

I mean, they aren't much better than Draymond Green at 33% and he's horrible

 

I think you're right that most rational teams would want the Rockets deal. But Thibs was looking to win now. In that sense...he made a better deal. Obviously he shouldn't be trying to win now...but that's another conversation.
