Haha nah I'm just makin a joke about how we are ready to defend players who arent our team (yet lol)? Well, you are right. But to be honest no one can really know intent. I'm just saying that's how it came across to people not what he actually meant.
Jimmy is probably going to play tomorrow because he going to use it as a platform to showout against the clippers. Its a job audiction even though i dont think the clippers are that enamored with Jimmy as they are with Kawhi....
What could have been with MVP Rose and Bulls Jimmy......... I bet their chemistry was not that good besides injury.
I recall a story about Butler saying playing PG is not that hard and questioning Rose and Noah's work ethic. They did not seem cool with each other in their final Bulls season. They do seem good now though, wonder if there's any leftover bad blood underneath. Who knows. Butler is one of those guys who has a lot of needs, but the needs he has can propel a team to a championship. He has an unreasonably high bar for hard work and productivity from his teammates >> this can be tough, but on a veteran team it can be good. On a young team, it would be detrimental. I'm not concerned about this part of his attitude. What concerns me slightly is he might have a very low bar for everything else it seems, and that can easily be construed as unfair by teammates. He has no problem bringing controversial attention to him (and hence his team), he doesn't seem to see the team as a family as much as he sees it as "each individual do your individual part and mind your business", that kind of stuff. Good thing Paul shares his competitiveness and drive, but not the rest of the stuff. Could really be a game changer for his career. Would be the first time he hasn't clashed with his team if he joins us. If it were just him and Harden, it would be a difficult dynamic imo. I realize this all is unrelated to your post, just talking to myself I think haha sorry
