I think him sitting out has a lot to do with his contract as well. He’s basically saying why risk injury with a team that isn’t going to be the one I sign a new contract with this summer.
Wolves fans are also angry that he intruded on Rose's post game interview after the 50pt performance. Jimmy doing this right. He knows that sitting out can easily get him fined. He is just going to mess with the chemistry and flow of this whole team within the bounds of the rules and his contract. Business is business, as organizations tell players all the time.
Are you implying that Jimmy in this press conference is messing with chemistry? If not then sorry, misunderstood. But if you are implying that was a cheeky move, you’re most likely wrong. He just simply got excited for his teammate. Not everything has a ridiculous story behind it.
I know everyone is on #hugwatch and #restwatch but Gordon & Porter are injured. Jimmy is the only faker here. Otto Porter (big toe contusion) did not practice yesterday and might not be available for Sunday's game against the Knicks. Porter briefly left Friday's game to be checked out, but later returned. He only logged 19 minutes in that game and has been struggling to make a consistent impact so far this season. Check back for updates on Porter's status before tip. Otto Porter (left big toe) will be a game-time call for Sunday's matchup with the Knicks. Porter did not practice on Saturday, so there's a decent chance he'll be sitting out tonight's game. If he's out, Kelly Oubre Jr. would likely get the start and Jeff Green would see an uptick in minutes. Check back closer to tip-off for official confirmation on his status. Otto Porter (bruised left big toe) will not play vs. New York on Sunday. Kelly Oubre benefits the most with Porter ailing and will get the start in his absence. Jeff Green may also get more run, Troy Brown may get minutes, and we expect Washington to deploy even more small-ball lineups than usual. Owners should consider Porter day-to-day with D.C.'s next game coming Tuesday in Dallas.
Just saying it irritated Minny fans. While it was a minor disruption, it does strike me as slightly attention-whoring given the circumstances of Rose receiving so much attention that night. I don't think he strategically planned it, but I do think it's a part of his somewhat narcissistic personality to do this kind of thing. More importantly: I'd still love to see him join the Rockets.
Cool. Don’t know why Minny fans would take it that way, but I’m sure Jimmy was genuinely cheering Rose on.
Lol your pre homer glases are on haha, honestly the way it came across was kinda douchey, it may not have been Butler's intent but that's def the way it came across
Haha. What pre homer is involved here? Douchey I can’t argue. But if you’re saying it’s more likely that he wanted to be a jackass towards his teammate on purpose or s**t disturber would be the better word for this argument, then I’d say that’s reaching.
