What is about to happen is that 1 and done is about to be eliminated and players will be able to be drafted out of high school again, this makes the top of the first round even more volatile.

Question ... Is our offer to MIN that good then . The 19' pick is useless ( to us ) . 21' looking meh . It's only 23 and 25 that have real , strong value . Granted , MIN prolly can't do any better for a player that is leaving and they can take some shots on guys with high upside if they hedge their bets with their own first rounders .
I hope I’m wrong but I have a feeling Gordon is still being offered with the 4 first rounders and maybe Chriss. I mean we’re alljust guessing but I’m just not seeing knight and Chriss with the 4 first round picksgetting it done. MInny and thibs don’t know what they want.
It’s all a matter of perspective. We wear Rocket colored glasses and believe that these will be low first rounders. Who’s to say they won’t turn out to be lottery picks. Minnesota is hoping for a repeat of the Nets sitatuion of a few years ago. Based on twitter and Reddit comments it looks like most outside observers think it’s a great deal for the Wolves. If the media perception is that this is a great deal then Taylor looks like a “winner”. Sometimes the perception of winning is enough... Overall, I think it’s a fair deal if it’s four 1sts, Knight and Chriss for an extended (or agreed upon) Butler. Both sides are taking equal risk in this scenario.
If that's how this goes down, then Morey will have traded essentially Ryno, Melton and 4 1sts for Butler. Hell, we were talking about having to give 2 1sts just to get rid of Ryno. Morey the Magician!
This would be gangster. Lose Ariza Luc and ryno for jimmy Melo and ennis. That’s a major upgrade. Only one that’s uo for debate is ennis vs Luc.
Rockets need a Butler to have any chance at a title. I would go all in too, now is the time to win. Also, Durant might leave Golden State this off-season
Everybody needs to relax. This isn't the end game. If we trade 4 picks there is other stuff coming back with Butler. We're not going to be locked in and unable to make another move. And we're not going to have mortgaged away 7 years from now. This is NOT desperation.
I know the owner signs off on everything but we have to keep in mind we are going up against a GM who wants no part of this deal. No matter what Thibs will not be in Minnesota for that much longer. I just don’t see it. Thibs knows it too. What does he want with 4 picks he won’t get to make.
I don’t even think it’s a gamble if you know butler is going to extend his contract once he gets here. Now if it’s a rental than ya that’s a major gamble that could backfire big time. I don’t care about the draft pick personally because they won’t help the harden era at all. Get jimmy and harden on the same team then you still have cp3 Capela tucker and melo. Thats so much talent, filling in the roster won’t be that difficult imo. There is plenty of guys that can give u 15-20 min of solid play when playing on a team with 4 legit HOF guys and two super role players.
