    I’d rather talk to Nichols.

Oh yeah, i forgot about that, they'd have to trade Gortat with Lou then...so yeah, even worse since at least Bradley would be a starter at the 2 and actually a good fit, Gortat is just not needed there, and i don't see who would be willing to move assets for him as a third team at this point. Or maybe Boban instead of Gortat, not sure how much value he has though...

Man, I'm getting sick of this, Eric Gordon despite age is the ABSOLUTE best player RIGHT NOW in these trade talks. So I dont really get what Thibs is on, like you dont want to trade him to us cause you dont want us to be even more of a superpower? Dude, you are going to suck either way, you arent winning right now with or without Butler.

He's the same age as Butler, well like half a year older but nothing in it

Yeah. It’s tough. He’s definitely the best player available in the offers we know of. But if he’s the same age and not as good as Butler then you can see Minnesota’s hesitation. We’re really not adding anything when we toss in our first round pick or Nene or Zhou. So they’d basically be trading a top 20 player for a player the same age that’s not as good. Will they not be able to do better? Maybe not but they’re not ready to accept that.

better player and better asset are different.
A top 10 pick is almost certainly a worse player than Gordon but every team would take it over Gordon.
In this specific case Bam that the Wolves want, is a better trade asset than Gordon.

You said Gordon was the best player despite his age. Not sure what age has to do with it when they are the same age.

Oh my bad, you were comparing to the other offers. Sorry

Makes sense except Thibs doesn’t want assets, he wants the best player possible. His job and mental health depend on it.

I get it, I do. But its just lol, Thibs is the one who wants to compete now. It's not happening with Richardson or Bam. Maybe if Dragic was included idk. Whatever, I am just mad at Thibs haha
Ah yea I mean what @Zoplicone and @malakas were referring, in terms of him not being a young player in terms of growing with KAT and Wiggins.

We don't know who has the final say in this mess of a franchise. But for sure if they wanted only ready players they wouldn't have asked for Bam like Woj reported them to.

Haha. What is the point of adding rights to Llull? That is just insulting Thibs. Also, there has been no proof we’re able to find a third team to take on Dieng. The difference between 2 and 3 more years of a bad contract is huge. Dieng has 3 more years

The fact that Heat keeps popping up all the time in rumours means to me that the Wolves have targeted a specific player from them. And it seems to be one of their young ones. Winslow? Bam?
So it doesn't look like Thibs is/or is allowed to be only win now with old players.
Even the newest Clippers rumours seem nothing more than additional pressure to Miami to give in.

...and that might be preferable to Thibs. Keep top 15 player, try to make the playoffs, will probably get fired at end of year anyways. (Glen Taylor may have other ideas.)

I’m a huge Tobias Harris fan...I’ve been wanting him on the Rockets for years...dude can ball

I’m pretty much apathetic to this whole Jimmy Butler situation at this point...whatever happens, happens
