On Bill Simmons' latest podcast he thought the best deal for the Wolves was a Clippers package that included Beverley (expiring), Galo, and Jerome Robinson.

Trash offer tbh but Simmons was proud of himself for that offer. Too bad KOC didn't push back on that.

Wolves want Otto Porter and Kelly Oubre? Wizards say no.

Wolves want "top prospect" wings, other teams can give them chicken wings.

There is no such thing as equal value in this case.

Probably, but that seems dumb. The strategy of "hey let's just be mediocre and wait for a star FA to come to us" is so obviously bad. Even the LA Lakers struck out for years using that strategy, so why in the world would it work for the Clippers? Yet, many teams seem to take this approach. I'm glad that the Rockets are always aggressive, even if it sometimes backfires.

Eric Gordon will not resign with Wolves, ask Clippers to take Gordon.

Yeah I heard that. Agree it's not a good offer, but I also did like his perspective that LAC should offer more to get a deal done.

And Sheridan's source is the Milwaukee Bucks realgm forum. That's what they have been fantasizing about for the last two weeks.

Oh, well. Looks like Scoop is just a rumor aggregator, and he's reading this site too, repackaging Codman and cyberx posts without crediting them or cfnet, like SheridanHoops, ugh.

I mean, that nearly identical tweet to Codman's post, one hour after Codman posted it, was very suspect.

I do admire Brogdon's game. Dude is "The Mid-sized Fundamental." If he's available, I'd prefer him to BK. (Don't get me wrong, I hope BK earns MIP.) (But if Brogdon's available...)
