I don't think Gordan and one first round pick gets it done. Gordan is the same age as Butler. If Miami offers another younger player with potential such as Winslow and a first round pick which will inevitably be much higher than the Rocket's, we would be outbid. That's why I think it takes Gordan and multiple picks to get it done. Which I believe is worth it given Butler's sign and trade value with full bird rights.
Anthony Tolliver looked pretty good for the T-Wolves last night at PF vs GSW. Hit 5-10 3ptrs. Plus the Wolves have Taj Gibson. TBH, they don't really need PJ Tucker. So yeah, Bulls, you are good at PF. Just take the Rockets EGO package and lets call it a day, ok?
I keep thinking about what ch said about 3/4 team deals and the fact that the Suns need a pg and they were interested to be third/fourth team in a deal...i wonder if Warren is available for Tyus Jones, in the end they have Bender, Anderson, Jackson, Ariza, Bridges...a lot of wings, and Warren might be an interesting piece for the Kings considering they have Bogdanovic who's a guy that can play two/three spots and Justin Jackson...Warren could also play some 4 in SacTown.
I believe that it will take more than Gordan and picks to get the job done. Hence, the need for a 3rd team eg Sac.
I don't believe this. That is exactly the type of package the Wolves would want. The deal would be DONE right now with the Wolves/Heat if that deal was on the table. I do believe it is possible that Winslow+Salary+Pick is on the table. I do NOT believe Josh Richardson is on the table. That is who the Wolves want but the Heat are reluctant to make available. I also believe the Heat might not have the machinations to help facilitate a Dieng move to a 3rd team. I think they only can send 1 first round pick 2019 since they have the 2021 pick tied up with the 76ers (so 2020 and 2022 are not available to be moved).
SAC needs wings and have cap space to absorb salary. PHX has wing players for days, needs PG starter. MIN wants young talent and/picks (Taylor) and vet all star/near all star (Thibs). HOU want Tomball’s Pride.
Why are people spelling it as "Gordan?" For some reason that's infuriating to me. Same way when people spell Bill O'Brien's name with an A. If you root for a team, you should be able to spell the easy names correctly. Of course, this is a stupid pet peeve of mine. And I'm the guy that started the "Paging Cyberex..." thread with his username spelled incorrectly. Sorry for the nonsensical babbling. I'm just trying to pass my time until football starts.
I think the Suns are very possible as the 4th team. Warren, Jones, makes sense. Clearly a team to watch.
