I don't think you will get to see that at all. I believe Butler will be traded most likely to another team apart from the Rockets within a week, but Houston is not out of the sweepstakes either. Tilman and Morey need help from the Kings or another team in my humble opinion.

In my opinion, those of you crying about hanging on to hustle players are INSANE. Sure, keep PJ if we can while still getting Jimmy B. Yea I was surprised how long they held that considering how rapidly changing this situation is. Maybe they had some sort of assurance that nothing would get finalized mid day Friday so they took their time getting it out but when Twitter started going crazy last night they felt like they had to get it out there.

It's a "Mexican" food place that, from the outside, looks like a fast-casual dining place. And it is, as far as atmosphere and cleanliness. But the food leaves a lot to be desired. It's clearly just stuff from a can that they throw together. Taco Bell quality food, which is fine, but appearances led me to believe that it would be a step above. In the future if I were given a choice between Taco Casa and Taco Bell, I would choose the Bell.
I really like your posts. Jimmy Butler is a big upgrade as a swingman. No doubt about it, however EG plus Tucker add considerable strength to the team. Our front court defense/ team chemistry will suffer a lot without PJ. Morey needs to get a replacement for him, if he is traded. That is not going to be easy to do.
The problem with the Wolves "building a market" is that THEY are the team with the timetable. The owner doesn't want to drag it out. So understandably, the suitors are keeping their offers lean. The onus is on the Wolves.
So, I am unique that EG/PJ straight up is too much? Yet a putative deal would be worse??? Count me out, assuming anyone is counting, that is... JR?
There is always risk. But Morey always bets on the team culture. Keep in mind that Butler is friends with Harden and Melo. CP is huge with the team culture. If there is a team that can convince someone to stay, the Rockets are the team.
Tucker wasn’t viewed as some indespensable piece when he was initially acquired...Morey will find a way to get another “role player who we just can’t afford to lose” Morey finds dudes just lounging on their couch to come here and be a nice role player for us Butler as your 3rd best player is incredible
