I don't know what to say, in the end everything can happen, on paper he would play at home in one of the two best teams in the league, he would get more money here (5th year or not)...if he really wants to be the man like some rumors are reporting, why not refuse to get traded here in the first place? I don't think the Rockets would offer Gordon, picks or PJ if there was some sort of similar indication...but that's just me. I think there were also rumors about George having interest in being the alfa...maybe it wasn't true, maybe he just got screwed by Lebron going there...i don't know, but maybe the same can happen with Butler, in fact i read something few days ago about him having less interest in playing for the Lakers now that Lebron is there. The Clippers will probably go after Kawhi first next summer. Knicks and Nets might be dangerous for us if those rumors about him being a diva are true, even though, man, the Knicks...such a terrible franchise...i want to believe that winning has to matter something for someone like Butler who plays on both ends the way he does, a player with no desire to win wouldn't give a **** about defense, and i don't think this kind of player would play for the Knicks as today...the Nets are doing a great job since Marks has been on board, but they remain a pretty bad team, going there, even with Irving (which isn't guaranteed anyway) means zero chance to win something. Let's say i want to be positive and kinda naive at this point.
