Then make him the head coach - give the ball to Harden, and anyone else plays defense.

What's the point of McHale being the head coach again?

    Wtf?

That's exactly what he is for defense. He is a great defensive x/o coach. How long have you watched the NBA?

Don't we have 2 assistant coaching vacancies to fill after the departure of Sampson and the firing of Dean Cooper by the coward Kevin Mchale?

I am all for it! We can package anyone and everyone except for Howard to trade for LeBron plus anything. On one condition though, McHale has to be included in that package.

Well, I think Brown is a mediocre head coach(albeit still 100 times better than McFail). But he has had success as an assistant with the Spurs and Pacers, so maybe he'd fit in here in that capacity.

Defensive Coordinator is nice but they still need a...you know...actual/real head coach.

Sorry, gonna take awhile to get over. Not while other teams are firing their coaches and the Rockets are firing/not extending contracts to everyone not named McHale.

    Uh... why?

Brown's defensive scheme is outdated is they come. He was a good defensive coach a few years back, but the league has changed since then and Brown has failed to adapt. Also a moron when it comes to offense.

LOL at the Rockets having two Head Coaches just to escape not firing one that the players are close to but is bad at his job, how about making Mchale an assistant and getting Karl or Hollins so Mchale can learn how to coach. This makes me think that Sampson was running things.

I like it. Now bring in an assistant for offense so McHale can be freed up to stay out of the way of any real coaching duties.

Well, if the Rockets flame out in the first round next season, I doubt they'll try to blame it on the assistant coaches. Morey will be so desperate to not get canned himself(and prevent Dwight from opting out and leaving a year later) that he'll clean house and through millions at a real head coach to lure them here.

A while. Brown's assistants did that for him, he has always been known as a motivator much like out current coach.

No need to apologize. What the rockets are doing is appalling. No same reason as to why Mac should still be here.
