I get it. I really would prefer PG over Lebron. But if they want to come here and the players want them here, then do it. I just don’t want to loose our identity or gut our team in the process.

I actually agree with old buddy when 2 teams are close little moves like that make the difference. One of The many things that make the warriors great is there ability to cause match up problems n play making on their second unit. U have a guy like Livingston who can post up any guard(not all) who is automatic in the paint. U have guys like West. Them guys make a difference against 2nd units. So I think a speights which is really high on my list would make a huge difference. U would have a stretch 5 in a vacuum he's not very good but you put them with other Playmakers and other guys that are stretching the court and it basically makes that team very dynamic

I feel u...best way to acquire Lebron would be through an opt-in and trade like we did with CP3 IMO

Lebron is coming to Houston.

Lakers and GSW are all just newsfeed to make things interesting and to make it look like he gave it a lot of thought.

His mind is already made up. He wants to come to Houston.

Its up to Morey and LBJs team to make it work and happen.

The real debate here is who do you want to play for Rockets at PF? Ryan Anderson or Lebron James?

Maybe we need a poll for an honest public opinion on this.

 

The only reason I can see is because LeBron tells the front office, "I'm leaving regardless. Your best option is for me to opt in to my player option and you take back whatever Houston is willing to send over just like they did with Chris Paul."

And that's it. That's the only way they'd help is clear the room. Is if they're getting back at least some assets in return that can help them with their rebuild.

 

If we can take the Warriors to at least 6 games and make it competitive that sure would help.

Let's be honest. Make that poll in Early December, they would have picked Ryno... it's all documented in great detail right there in the Ryno thread.

 

Man - if we scored JJ and Favors even as rentals for Anderson that would be an amazing score. I would assume Anderson would have to be involved in any trade like that to make the dollars work....I don't see why Utah would necessarily want Anderson but I guess having a stretch 4 to share the court with Gobert, Mitchell, and stinky shooter Rubio makes a little more sense.

 

Let's be clear: Cyber never said we were trading Ryno for Joe and Favors. He said the Jazz are trying to package those guys up to do something and that we have interest in Joe Johnson.

I’m all on board cybrex with Favors/J Johnson to Houston.

I’ve felt in my gut LeBron to Houston this summer for about a month now. Just looking over the landscape
of the NBA and his best options.

As far as using Ryan and picks.....I’m ok with Rockets sending as many as necessary (for Favors/Joe J)
