The LeBron thing is pure fantasy, but I really don't get why people think Melo would leave a non-contender in New York to play for a non-contender in Los Angeles. He's an East Coast guy playing in the biggest market in North America and the Lakers aren't any good.
You know he's wife is LaLa and she wants to be like Kim Kardashian so much. She can get her tv show there

Melo will not opt out and prob sign on long term with NYK imo. If he ever does changes teams I think it will be to go to the Brooklyn nets. But the dude wont leave the state of New York. He and his wife were both born in brooklyn, NY. Both successful there.
