And I’m all for dumping Clint’s contract for a cheaper replacement. But is a past-his-prime KLove the right fit for this scheme? Maybe his algorithms are telling him something I’m not getting.

Surely, Daryl learned from finally landing Melo (past-his-prime) after years of chasing him....

Morey must not have a methodology to measure toughness and clutch plays, both that plays a big factor in playoffs, and the lack of both that comes to bite the Rockets in the ass year after year.

This would be yet another failed deal by trading for another injury prone overpaid player. There are so many players that can help the Rockets that don't have health issues and have better contracts. Hell, sign Seth Curry and a guy like Darius Miller.

If all we have to do is donate Clint Capella for Kevin Love... and we can still get jimmy and deandre home... i'm all for it.

3's, rebounding, inside game, and...so true..a great passer.

While it's true CP3 does have the big salary/cap #, when combined with James, he gives KLove something he never had with LBJ. I'll admit there APPEARED to be some slippage, but if you can get past the price, Chris is still deadly with the midrange and can run the offense better than anyone out there. THE LOOKS WILL BECOME EXPONENTIALLY BETTER...You put Love with these guys and it makes for a dynamic offense....with the starters and the second group. Gotta have that balance between CP3/James/Kevin..I believe to a large extent Chris's "problems" had to due with this balance not being there..and the shots he was forced to take..(great looks galore with this group, also not having to spend so much energy creating) We still have James doing his thing, but the Rockets can become a well oiled machine on offense. Kevin can play the 4 or the 5. Open up the interior, and really unlock the potential of this offense. It's a totally different situation than when he was playing with the Cavs..I don't see them giving up EG either unless a bigger/another deal is there, which considering everything, makes sense. We shall see.
